Pet Shop Boys to play Forum Karlín on May 13

Legendary British electro-synth pop duo Pet Shop Boys will play Forum Karlín on May 13.

Since Neil Tennant and Chris Lowe signed on with Parlophone Records in 1985, they’ve had forty-two Top 30 hits, of which two broke the Top 10, and four reaching the top of the British charts. The band has released thirteen studio albums, which have all reached the Top 10 in the UK and occupied sales charts worldwide.

Over their thirty-year career, the band has played over seven hundred shows, appeared in sixty-three countries and have played some of the world’s most prestigious festivals around, including Glastonbury, Rock in Rio, Coachella, and Roskilde. The band’s performances have always focused on creating a strong audio-visual experience, and they’re famous for their collaboration with some of the world’s best directors, stage designers, and conceptual artists to help create a unique concert state presentation.

Before the launching of the “Dreamworld: The Greatest Hits Live Tour”, the band will also drop their new eagerly anticipated album “Hotspot”. The album, which will be released on January 24, was recorded in Berlin and Los Angeles and represents a collaboration with Stuart Price, who has also produced albums by Madonna, The Killers, Missy Elliott, New Order.  The new album features ten new tracks will include both singles by album release ushered in “Dreamland” featuring Years & Years and “Burning the heather”.

Pet Shop Boys in the past composed, produced or remixed songs for numerous musical colleagues – from Lady Gaga to Madonna, David Bowie, and The Killers.
